The Semiahmoo Ladies Club (SLC) was founded in 1992 to promote fellowship among the Semiahmoo Resort Community. SLC is a non-profit organization that began their philanthropic projects with scholarship money awarded to a female, Blaine High graduating senior. Recognizing their Semiahmoo community was a small part of the greater community of Blaine, SLC members expanded their personal volunteerism to include fund raising efforts to benefit more organizations and charities in Blaine.
